Got a doe yesterday morning in Lawrence Co. I was hoping we would get more.
Up at 3:45 AM and got bak in bed at 11:00 PM. Long day. Got her in the cooler this morning and won't get to cut her up til tomorrow morning.

We had bought a cheap slide in camper and took up o ur lease. After returning for the first time in 10 days, found that it was already broken into. Luckily, we didn't have anything of value in it yet. One of our buddy stands was taken apart and the small stuff (pins, ratchet straps, safety straps) were gone and the stand was sitting beside the road. I guess they planned to drive in somehow and get it. I dread going back up there now and finding out what has happened the last few days.

thunderstorm, outlaw said he had all the parts to put the stand back together for sale or trade to a good used trailcam. Seriously, I hate that for ya. Is your lease in Lawrence Co.?

No, this one is on Kingdome Come Creek. I just have permission to hunt a small farm in Lawrence Co. Still haven't been back up there.

I haven't done anything much in the outdoors since turkey season. One of those birds did win our local chapter of the NWTF contest though. No fish, well none that I will admit anyway. Hope it changes sometime soon.

Misty, myself, and Shelia enjoying the dove hunt. Misty did great to start off. Then she got hot and basically quit on me. But, later in the evening she really turned on. If I'm going to start posting a bit I'll catch everyone up. I lost Misty 6 mo ago to a vehicle. It absolutely destroyed me. Shelia's Mom passed away last December. Shelia has been working part time. 2 of our field staff of 4 has retired the last few months and I am swamped w/ work. But, I still can fish a little while working in the L. Cumberland area. Dad and I limited out 2 days in a row. No big stripers coming out of Cumberland since the fish kill a couple of years ago, but it is still fun. Purchased the new boat back in the spring.

No, but I got one step closer the other day. I dug my bow case out from under the bed.
