Shelia and I dove hunted yesterday. I got my limit (15) and Shelia got 10.

Misty, myself, and Shelia enjoying the dove hunt. Misty did great to start off. Then she got hot and basically quit on me. But, later in the evening she really turned on.  |

So far we have gotten 2 or possibly 3 shooters on camera this summer.
Dad, Mom, and I fished Friday morning. We (Mom) caught 2 stripers...no camera.
Luckily, they both came from the front of the boat where I sit. If they hit in the back, I doubt Dad would have handed them to Mom. LOL

Took a buddy striper fishing yesterday and he caught his biggest striper....33".
Only hit we had. I should get to fish some this coming week.

I've not killed a deer in two years...I'll take him!!!! ;D The decal on the truck reminded me of when I cut that logo out of the Ky Afield calender and made it look like a sticker and put it on my trail cam.....put it in the same place that i had already had one stolen....it was never touched.....maybe outlaw should try that...  |

I had to put my old lab, Windy, down Wednesday night.  Here is a pic of her and Storm (I lost him spring of 09) doing what they did best the last few years. I need to get a pic of them in their prime. But, I will first need to "borrow" our scanner back from our niece.  |

Youth season was a failure as far as getting a crack at a deer. I was very surprised we didn't get any opportunities. Shelia and I will only get to hunt one day due to her sisters not helping watch her Mom. I bought an old slide in camper to take up on the hunting lease. I will have to put alot of work in it just to keep us dry and keep it from falling apart.  |
