Got my first trail cam and put it up for 2 days/3 nights in my new hunting lease. I retrieved it the other day and was like a 6 yr old on Christmas morning when I plugged it into the TV. I got several pics here is the best one.... i318.photobucket.com/albums/mm415/storm1507/003-1.jpg

The gun is a .45 Kahr. Nice gun.
We were surprised to see the bucks show up on the cam the first night. We almost never see bucks there.
We are getting closer and closer to that 40" striper....1/2" at a time. LOL

Looks like a bear to me. My buddy thats a preacher in KY has one raiding the trashcans in the church parkinglot.

Very good DS. The lower right hand corner is his forehead, then ear (complete w/ tag) and then it's rump. It looks like that is a red tag (not white) which means it's a male and will be legal come late Dec. for our first bear hunt.
The funny thing is 16 min after that pic was taken there was a pic of me taking the cam down. ;D
Where in KY does your buddy preach?

Im not sure. He recently moved to a larger church where he can do it full time as opposed to having a couple of part times to support his family. He said he is closer to the Tenn. border than he was.

Our last 3 fishing trips have only netted us one small keeper striper. I have not been bowhunting yet...busy with work.

Bowhunted yesterday morning...extremely windy and didn't see anything.
I got another buck pic on the camera, but only from his eyes down. I still haven't seen any antlers on my new hunting grouds. From his body he looked like a 2 1/2 yr old.

We went to Lake for a couple of days...I fished, Shelia hunted w/ the crossbow. Fishing sucked, but Shelia got a nice doe. Protein in the freezer.

Shelia and I got to go to Lawrence Co for ML weekend and I saw one and Shelia didn't see any. The deer were all feeding in fields and we hunt in the woods. I did get the doe that I saw so 2 in the freezer now.
