FISH ON !!!! ;D I'll interupt the bear pics for this. Dad and I fished yesterday morning while I was in the lake area for work. We caught a few others around 25", but this one was 36 & 1/4" and 21+ lbs. I think our scale may be off...he was a bruiser.

My secretary said the same thing for the same reason. LOL
I wouldn't go back and try it now...they should be about 2 months old. They would tear me apart now.

I took a kid hunting this morning and called 2 within 25 yards....he missed. I did get some video w/ my little bitty camcorder, but it is poor quality. It also ran out of battery power about 1 min before the shot. The gobblers are in the center of the video at the beginning. It's about 2 min long. s318.photobucket.com/albums/mm415/storm1507/?action=view¤t=001.flvI also found out that our garage at the Lake was broken into. They got about 20 rod/reels, 3 tackle boxes loaded w/ plugs, my GPS, and assorted odd & ends. Some people are real losers. I would sure have a hard time NOT BURYING someone if I caught them red handed.

Pretty cool video. Wish the kid could have connected.
Was it the first time you've had anything stolen at the lake? From what I've heard you're pretty lucky if it was.

Yes, other than an old ladder stand that we had 50 yrds behind the garage. We didn't miss it though. We are down enough at odd hours etc. to stop most people and most of the ones around know what I do for a living. We have a neighbor there and their boy (early 20's) stays there all the time now. He and his buddies don't appear to be the greatest humans around. I'm thinking they can watch it close enough to feel brave. I guess when I go down tomorrow I will break out a siloette target and waste alot of ammo. ;D

Heading down to the Lake to try my luck w/ the night time, topwater striper action tomorrow. May do a little turkey hunting while down there as well. My opening morning was a bust, not much gobbling, saw one good gobbler and couldn't get him into x-bow range. Later, I got a shot at a jake and MISSED. Well, I wish I completely missed. Haven't been back.
