Ive got my dad building me a 351 Cleveland for my 79 Cobra. We are shooting for 500+HP. I told him I want to be able to pull the front wheels off the ground. He has been ordering some innards for it and looking into some suspension stuff.
How can you have the biggest truck on the block and not the fastest car?

Ya, the neighbor is a drag racer. And the nieghbor on the other side works for Nascar, he is a jackman so I dont think he has too fast of a ride though.

My dad talked to the guy we ordered the Swap kit from and he said from personal experience you shouldnt go over a 393 stroker on a C (we were looking at a 426 stroker kit). He is discontinuing the Cleveland swap kits and is throwing in some freebie stuff as well as some info on his 351C swap and a discount on top of that! So far Ive got Traction bars, shocktower braces, subframe connectors, oilpan, pump, pickup, dipstick, and motor mounts. Im ready to get the pistons and crank.
I talked to a guy at work that can draw liike hell and he is going to airbrush a Cobra on the hood for me so I can do away with the sticker that comes on the Cobras.

Ive been looking for a 200mph speedometer for it. I found a place that you can send yours to and they will reface and recallibrate it to a 170mph version...
They used to sell them, I remember seing them before.

I may end up having to get one like that. They used to make a whole gauge cluster that would fit my car.
