Oh I think we are going to get the block soaked one more time in degreaser at the machine shop when the heads are modified for the roller rockers.

The heads have been at the machine shop for a few weeks. I know my cousin was on vacation, just not sure for how long. Havent heard from em yet...

Meant to post earlier. Our cousin couldnt do the heads with his machine... I told dad I want it DONE by July. Ive been working 70+ hours a week lately getting money for it and the Illinois hunt.

I went ahead and inquired at another machine shop. sounds like its going to be around $700 for balancing and putting the heads together. Got the Crank in today for clearance checks.  |

Not much lately. Ive been working 60-72 hrs a week plus going to the doctors all the time...

Put the pistons and rods in the other day to check for clearances. Everything looked good. Now I guess its a waiting game on going back to work and making the $700 to send everything to the machine shop to be balanced and have the heads done.

Checking on how much a flywheel is now. We have to have it before it gets balanced.
