Hi, I'm a new member and new to hog hunting. I've hunted deer, 'yote, etc., since I was about 12, and am 51, now. I'm former Army and Marine Corps (Enlisted and Officer) and former Correctional SWaT. Did each for 17 years, respectively. I'm an avid biker (I ride older stuff), hunter, beer brewer, and vegetable gardener, tho I am told that I am a farmer, at my gardens sizes. I've hunted hog about 2 months, now, but have yet to score one. I've found where they "were", but not where they "are!" I'm about to build a trap or snares, and see if that helps any...OH! I'm in North "Missippi". I do hope to become a bit more successful, as do the farmers in my area, about 20,000 acres worth of farmers have allowed/asked me to hunt their land to remove the hogs. Deer season's ending, so it looks as if I'l be starting to get busy, real soon. Any help will be very much appreciated!

Good luck. Most of the pigs Ive killed have been at night or trapped. We havent had them long here and they are pretty nocturnal.
