A GUY WAS TELLING ME THE OTHER DAY THAT HE SOME TIMES PUTS A COUPLE OF TURKEY DECOYS IN THE FIELD HE HUNTS. HE SAYS IT SOMETIMES MAKES THE DEER FEEL MORE AT EASE AND THEY'LL SOMETIMES COME OUT IN THE OPEN EARLIER INSTEAD OF WAITING TILL DARK. I,VE NEVER TRIED IT BUT I,M GOING TO CAUSE WHEN YA YHINK ABOUT IT, IT KINDA MAKES SINCE. DEER ARE BOUND TO KNOW HOW ALERT TURKEYS ARE AND HOW WELL THEY SPOT MOVMENT. IF A DEER SEES TURKEYS IN A FIELD THEY MIGHT JUST LOWER THEIR GUARD A LITTLE BIT. ANYWAY I'M GONNA GIVE IT A TRY. WHAT DO YA GOT TO LOSE?

That might just work. I've seen a lot of deer and turkeys feeding in the same area before. Let us know how it works!

I don't think it'll help much here. Ive seen turkeys in the food plots almost every day and the deer are in the fields with them very seldom...
