Aren't Dove Shoots Fun?

Now that turkey season is almost over we'll have to wait until September before we can REALLY hunt again.

I love dove season. I'm a terrible shot, but between the guys getting together for the first time since last season, listening to the football game on the radio while you wait for the birds to fly and seeing the young guys going out on their first hunt, it makes you appreciate what hunting really is and what it really means.

Hit and miss here.....
Sometimes we shoot non-stop and can't reload fast enough and sometimes there ain't nothing in the sky but sparrows and hawks.

I just started counted the days this week. The only thing I would rather do than take my Lab to a dove field is take her to a duck blind. (114 days until the opener.)
