Ky's season opens in the morning...rainy and windy here in SE KY in the AM. I almost had one lassoed and tied down this morning, but he got away.
Hope the season hasn't come in too late this year.

I didnt have any luck where I was hunting, heard atleast three gobbling on the other side of the holler on top of the mountain. One I'm pretty sure lost his head around around 7:15
Season opened a week too late IMO.

I only got a couple to shock gobble at my aluminum call, but they wouldn't work at all. Not much gobbling my way. Shelia had long beards around her all day, but her gun didn't fire at least 3 times. We worked on it after I got home and found out we didn't tighten the magazine cap down enough after putting a sling on her gun a couple of days ago. She was

hey guy it been a while I seen 8 gobblers and 3 hens. Killed one with 3 beards 11" 7" 6" 19lb 1 1/8 " spurs
