Hands down my worst season ever. NO deer to be seen. There are plenty of wolves though.

I'm seeing plenty of deer. I let a solid 15" 8 pt walk yesterday morning because of the potential for BIG bucks on my new place. Dalton has had three shots at wallhangers so far this year and hasn't cut a hair. Put a doe or small buck in front of him and he is deadly. The little turd sees a good buck every time he steps foot in the woods. I haven't seen one worth shooting with my gun so far, except during the youth hunt that Dalton missed. I think in the morning if that 15" 8 walks out and Dalton doesnt dust him I may, but then again it will just depend on the situation. I need a buck with my gun to get another triple trophey, the two hardest legs are complete (bow and ml).

and this one Neither of these two are the same buck Dalton missed during the youth hunt. The buck Dalton shot at was a good bit wider than either of these, not as tall but every bit as heavy. Attachments:

Man, I went out last Friday and had to come home early Saturday morning. My kid was sick with the flu and my wife was out of the country.
I didn't even get to hunt.
I can't go back out til the weekend of the 4th.
