Anybody ever used the Winchester hollow point bulets. I think they are called Max Power. Thinking of trying them in my new 270.

A guy at work likes them. Ive had too many missfires with winchester ammo. Ill never put any in my rifle to hunt with.

I use the Supreme in my 7mm.
They are the only factory loads I can get to group right.

Ive used Federal Premium 130grn Sierra Game King BTs in my 270 with great results. The 130grn Corelocts group a little better, but on game performance of the Gamekings is awesome.

I could not get the Core-Lokt to group in my 7 or my .30-30 (whick I don't think they make any longer). I shot 8 inch groups at 100 with the 7 and the .30 was a foot low and barely on the paper at 100. |

I am getting 11/2" groups @ 100yrds with both the federals and the fusion 130grain. I really like this Howa, can't wait to get a shot on an animal with it.(Don't count the 2 beavers I took out last weekend)
