Ya'll may own the night but you need to spend more time at the range. I assume you are either charging clients to come on these hunts or farmers/ranchers for population control. I have done a lot of hog hunting in the past including some at night and 3 or 4 guys whith night vision goggle or scopes blasting away at running hogs doesn't impress me. The folks on this board do not generally critisize someone for doing something that is legal but this video reminds me of a lot of the guys around here when I was growing up. Put dogs out on track (hog or Deer) drink beer and when the animal comes by everyone open blast away and hope for the best. Only difference is ya'll have more sophisticated equipment. I have no proplem with you hunting at night or using night vision but if this is a promo video you may want toshow the hogs you kill with one shot and not the shoot out at the OK coral. Just my 2cents

Thanks for your comments, please remember that your general hunter may not be a great marksman like you. Also trying to get the said hunters on the same hog as the video camera operator is quite the feat when there are 20+ hogs running in all directions. Example, the camera man is on one hog running left and 2 hunters are firing @ hogs going right. This is DAMAGE CONTROL, and these landowners want the problem taken care of. This video was not posted to impress, I wanted feed back from good hunters like you. And I thank you for not sugar coating your thoughts. In no way does this style of hog control, compare to deer hunting with dogs. There is NO BEER involved, so the redneck comments should not be thrown into the mix. We could have edited the video and only had "one shot kills" but that would not be real world. Sorry if this offended you, but I do appreciate you honesty. I didn't see a problem with the video, and have a idea of what's involved in filming it. People are use to viewing edited videos such as the fishing show of Bill Dance and others. If they could see that it would sometimes take days to film on show. They might not criticize as much. I would make a suggestion though, If you would plug the camera through the scope and videoed the shot from the individuals shooting that would be awesome, especially with thermal. Also a presentation before the hunt were y'all would introduce your self, and give a brief statement of the weapons that you use , and to make it informative, y'all could discus what modifications were made to the weapon and why. Also something else to think about would be if you could have a camera that would do some slow motion filming and throw in some footage using tracer rounds, no different than watching bow hunting shows using those luma knocks. Good luck with your hunts.
