Me and Jamie were hunting on some public land after the rain had stopped today. He was calling, we were facing each other and I saw this male coming in from behind him. He was on a full run looking for the Turkey dinner. He finally stopped about 35 or so yds away. I was already on him and asked Jamie if he was ready, he had his ears covered from when he saw me moving the gun. He nodded and I Let the ole Browning Gold give the yote a taste of 3.5" #4s. After I shot Jamie asked if I got it. I said yeah, and he said "What was it a Jake?" I said Nah, it was a coyote. I dont think he believed me until we walked over to it. I couldnt believe how fast it got dumped. It was facing me and I put the bead right under its head. It rolled right up and never kicked. We didnt bother with decoys since we were doing the run-n-gun now I wish we had them up. I would have liked to see it attack them! By ds11 at 2009-04-02 By ds11 at 2009-04-02

That's a good sized one too. I just can't figure out how it looks like you're holding it up so easy with that stick............ Photoshopped?.........Just kidding!
I'd like to bust one someday.

The kid I took hunting left a LITTLE blood and feathers in the leaves this morning....not enough to finish the job. I posted part of the hunt in my fishing journal. Not very good quality video though.
