Well, it’s NWTF banquet time again and I would like to ask all of you fellow sportsman for your support in coming to the banquet this year if you happen to be located close by. It will be held on April 18th at the ‘’new’‘ Holiday Inn at 1051 Park Ave. In Norton VA at 6:00pm. There will be great food, live auction, silent auction and lots of door prizes. Also lots of other prizes through games and raffles, one of which is a ''Limited Addition''Winchester SuperX3 Auto-Loader.
There will be several other guns given away in addition to lots of other stuff( blinds, grills and other outdoor type stuff). The NWTF needs your support in preserving our hunting heritage( a heritage that a lot of people are trying very hard to take away from us). This banquet is just one of the many ways you can show your support.
In 1973, when the NWTF was founded, there were an estimated 1.3 million wild turkeys and 1.5 million turkey hunters. Thanks to the work of wildlife agencies and the NWTF’s many volunteers and partners, today there are more than 7 million wild turkeys and almost 3 million turkey hunters. Since 1985, the NWTF and its cooperators have spent more than $258 million upholding hunting traditions and conserving more than 13.1 million acres of wildlife habitat.
If you’d like to know more about it, need tickets or want to see about getting involved, I can be reached at
276-565-3979
276-275-4240 or e-mail me at

Thanks
