Anybody else experienced this from Buckmasters? They have called me 4-5 times in the last few months. They're sayin I joined Buckmasters. :oTheir crazy! I hadn't joined Buckmasters or any other deer organization. They sent me a Buckmasters magazine and application to join for a 5 year membership about a month ago. I told my wife just return to sender, which she did. I got another call today, the guy says he just called to let me know he was goin to send my gift package, although I was a little late on my payment. I told him I had not joined buckmasters, and would they kindly please quit callin me, and sendin me stuff in the mail. He said yes, you joined such n such date over the phone. I said no I didn't there was a mistake. He kept arguing with me, finally I said well you ain't gettin no money from me. Get this> He said well I'll just turn it over to the collections agency. I hung up before I started sayin ugly words. If I'm a member, how come I hadn't signed anything?, I thought you had to sign something before you became a member. Is Buckmasters so hard up for members/money that they have started a scare tatic (pay up or we'll turn you over to the collections agency, even though your not really a member) This is gettin out of hand. If I get another call, I'm goin to be the one that threatens them, for harrasment! I would not join Buckmasters now, if they were the last deerhuntin organization left in the world! Just curious if they've done anybody else like this? bogobble

Call the Postmaster. I believe the law is that if you get something in the mail that you did not ask for, it's yours.
I would call the postmaster for sure. They'll investigate.

I'VE WENT A ROUND OR TWO WITH BUCKMASTERS MYSELF AND TOLD THEM IF THEY TURN ME IN TO A COLLECTION AGENCY, THEY'LL HEAR FROM MY LAWER AND THAT'S ALL IT TOOK. I'VE ALSO BEEN GETTING BILLS FROM THE NAHC FOR A LIFE MEMBERSHIP THAT I DIDN'T APPLY FOR AND FOR STUFF THAT THEY'RE CONVINCED THEY SENT ME. THE PROBLEM IS, I NEVER REQUESTED NOR RECIEVED ANYTHING. IN A NUT SHELL... JACKIE BUSHMAN AND BILL MILLER CAN BOTH KISS MY HILLBILLY A$$.

Well, it's purty sad when an organization as big as Buckmasters would do this kinda thing. I got another call from a Buckmaster member a couple days ago, he started rattling off what he was goin to send me and when he got to "is your address still 1758 philadelphia Rd" I said STOP! Just STOP! I told the guy about the conversation I'd had with the other guy that threatened to turn me over to the collection agency, and that I wouldn't join Buckmasters for nothing now. He said I'll just put you on our "Do not call list", I said that's what I want thank you, hung up. So maybe, just maybe, I won't get any more calls from Buckmasters. bogobble
