Before I start my rant, let me say a couple of things first.
1. Pray for our Country. We will need prayer more than ever in the next 4 years. "In God We Trust".
2. I was at the gun range a couple of weeks ago and saw an Obama 08 sticker on a car there. I waited about 45 minutes to confront the moron driving that car and finally went home. He must have been enjoying what could be the last of his right to be at the gun range. AT THE FREAKIN GUN RANGE......geeeze.
I am sick of all the "Obama" crap being advertised as memorial on TV in the last week: the coins, the plates, etc.
The first "black" President.
Genetically speaking, the man is only HALF black. The other half of him is white.
I have not seen a convergence of idiots on the Nations Capitol since the Million Man March a few years back. I wonder if they know what he wants to do with the romoval of the word "God" from our money, State Capitols, court rooms and schools?
I wonder if they know he wants to abolish the death penalty?
I wonder if they know he is pro-gay military?
I wonder if they know he is gonna drop this Nation in the proverbial grease?
I wonder if they know he wants to "get our young men out of prison and back to work"? (Yes, he said that and I heard it come out of his mouth)
In my opinion, it is a sad day for America.
Don't get me wrong here. This is NOT a racial issue. In fact, had Condolesa Rice ran, she'd have gotten my vote and she's black AND female.
With the current situation on this planet and the undeniable fact that there are a race of people in this world that want us dead, we need someone with a large set of onions to make sure we are safe not just here but abroad as well. Obama does NOT fit the bill.
Folks under the age of 32 are most likely too young to remember what Carter did to this Country...the Cubans, the canal, taxes..... we can't have a President who want to raise taxes while the Country is on the brink of a depression. It will NOT create jobs. It does not work. History speaks for itself.
Most of you have probably never contacted a Congressman for any reason. I urge you to write to your Congressman on a regular basis to let him or her know where you stand on even potential legislation.
If there is anyone out there who has ever considered the purchase of any type of semi-auto firearm, you'd better do it fast. Don't let money be an issue. It could be your only opportunity. Already the shelves are running dry. That started in mid-November. The price of ammo, particularly for assault weapons, has sky rocketed to almost unaffordable. I have started my stockpile.
".......the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."
Finally, on an optimistic note, it is what it is and there is nothing we can do about it for a while.
We can hope that the economy improves, jobs ARE created, stocks go up....etc.
God help us.
