Missed out again.

Mom called over this evening and asked if we wanted to go riding through a trail not too far from here that is pretty popular about seeing bears. Well, I told her that I had a few things to do around the house so her and dad just went ahead.
About six she called and said they were watching a sow and two cubs!
Dad took a few pics, but they were probably about 100 yds away and all I could make out was three black spots. They were tickled to death about seeing them and that's good enough for me.
I guess we're even now, neither of them have ever seen a elk in the wild.

I saw a Sow and 2 cubs here one time at a HS party. We moved the party inside when they strolled up in the back yard... Thats the only time Ive ever seen any.

Shelia goes pretty often. They usually see one or two. About the only time they don't is when I go.
