We used to go to Lawrence County and hunt early muzzleloader when it was the top county in the state. It always seemed to pour the rain the whole time we were there and not rain a drop here at home. We always saw plenty deer and a lot of orange!

Saw three does this morning, but no bucks showed up. It was a beautiful day to hunt, but got a little windy around 10:30 or so. Rubs and scrapes everywhere which is a good sign! Had a good gobbler within 30 yds right after daylight if thunderstorm had just been there with his crossbow.
Back at it tomorrow!
