I think this has been the slowest start ever for me. Just this AM I saw my first deer of the season while in the stand. Wind was in my face, and it came from straight behind me. Heard it running looked back and it was right on me. Looked a 4 or 6pt. It stood in the thick stuff to my left about 10' from the tree for a long time then just walked away from me. All I could see of it was patches of brown.
