Yep, sept 15. I can start baiting on sunday. Hopefully all the berries this year dont screw things up.

Our KY bowseason opens Sept. 6th.

We will also have our first bear season in 2009 in the 3 counties surrounding here... 2 days in Dec. with a max of 10 bears taken in the zone.

Our easternslopes WMU's open for archery Aug 25.Me and a pard will be in one looking for a bull moose on opening day .Personnally it's to hot for me,especially if we do kill a bull but I'm going anyways.

Two of my friends that hunt right across the river in Beech Island are taking off work Friday for the opener. Some of our dog men live in Carolina and they will turning out their hounds in this heat.
