Bidding on scopes, Im after a Steiner... May settle for another Leupold. Right now Im in the lead for the Steiner, but it ends tomorrow and I dont know if Ill get home in time to bid before the end if I get beat.

I won it with my MAX bid of $650... Thats not bad for a $1800 scope I dont think. Steiner Hunting Z 3.5-10x50 Heavy Duplex 30mm tube. I think Im going to take the 3.5-10x50 Leupold Vari-X III off My BAR and put the Steiner on it then put the Leupold on the Savage 7mag.

I Have pretty much decided to Put the Steiner on the Stainless Remington Model 7 .300SAUM and put the stainless 3-9x40 Bushnell Elite on the Savage 7mag... Might look goofy, but what the hey... I was looking at it earlier, the Model 7 has a black stock, stainless barrel, black bases (they were out of stainless), and Stainless rings. I Figure Ill order a set of Stainless high 30mm rings and put the black scope on it to finish the layered look. I aint real worried about the 7mag looking goofy.

You've not got it yet? I know a guy that spent over a thousand bucks on a part for a race car and never did get.
The only thing I would know to do in that case would be to hunt the seller down and take it out of their hide.

I talked to him. It is supposed to be on the way. He had a death in the family. He had a very high rating, so hopefully everything is on the up&up.
It took until the 23rd for the transaction to clear my bank, I think thats where most of the hold up came from.
