A guy caught this grass carp the other night when we were fishing......He drove around the lake and ask if anyone knew what the state record was. I told him that I thought it was 50 something pounds and he said I have one on the bank out here that's atleast that big.
We went out there and looked at it and just by guessing I'd say this one would weigh 65-70 easy........some of the people that looked at it said it would go over 80#
I'm not sure what the guy ever done with it.
