1979 Jeep CJ7. Straight 6, automatic, 2 tops ( hard and soft) and everything works. He told me to make an offer, but I told him that would not be smart as I tend to piss people off with my offers. He said nonsense, so I made an offer. He said " You are right, you do offend people". ;D
Finally got him to $1000. Think I will get it next week

Not yet. May hold off and get it a month or so from now. Its not going anywhere, but my insurance agent advised to hold off until my policy is renewed  |

Good things come to those who wait, and in this case it rang true. Guy called me earlier and said he needed money badly, would I give him $700 for it? Well, duhhhhh. Cash in hand and a done deal.

Had it towed home Monday. With just a little work I got it running. Its running rough but I hope to get it settled rather quickly. The only bad thing about the Jeep is it is full time 4 wheel drive. Gonna have to replace the transfer case somehow and then put locking hubs on it. Other than that I am pleased. Top is in good condition and the seats are in great condition.
