What do you plant for fall food plots for deer? I have used several Biologic products but find rye grass is easier & just as attractive to deer. Soil pH & fertilizer is a must for all though.

I have never had much luck with the big commercial blend, Biologic, Whitetail Institute etc. Tecomonte did ok but soy beans and iron clay peas have been the best for me.

We planted biologic and rye this year. I think we are going to plant about 15 acres of oats next year.

I have planted Green patch, Lab Lab peas and couple other Biologic products. Last year we planted 3 acres of corn and 2 acres of clover blend. I think we are going to plant clover and corn again it seem to be the best draw for deer and turkey.
