Yeah and whats bad, the kids have done started givin names. Thats not never a good sign .

stop them now or you'll be breakin' those kiddies lil hearts. when my husband got all the chickens i refused to get attached because they were food but there was this one rooster that had a floppy head so he was named...damn thing's now a pet.
