Thought you hunters might like to check out the latest record bear taken with us.This Male bear weighed in on goverment scales at 675 lbs,topping our last bear taken last year which was 600 lbs Male.

This new record in our camp may become the (new record for Nova Scotia),Taken by Justin Lee (right) of N.H. on his first bear hunt at the age of 22 yrs. in the stand for only 2 hrs.
the last record bear for N.S.was set in 1972 which tipped the scales at 500 lbs.
There is more of these in the remote areas where we hunt. I was born and raised in the woods and noted for being a bear man and decided to share with other hunters the thrill of a real bear hunt, I started in the guiding business 10 years ago and am world known for making dreams come true.

That beats the old record by 175. How could it not be the new record?

We have the largest weight known for the Atlantic region,but have to wait 3 months for skull to dry to take skull measurement?

The measurements taken to fit this bear on a half body form mount measured the size of an Xlarge Grizzle.
biggest bear I've ever seen,and I've been around and lived and hunted bears in B.C. for 14 yrs and never seen a black bear so huge.
