went out last Friday evening and shot a 125 lb hog at 20---25 yards. Only went about 40 yards and dropped.
will post some pic's when I get the scanner hooked up again.
I shot it in the stand that is in the swamp. (had almost 4 ft of water there at the beginning of bow season.)
I made a great shot on it, it squealed, ran about ten yards and started to walk slowly......I knew it was hit good. It walked about 30 yards from that point. Then it stopped, started staggering and fell. Gave three more squeals then died.
Thats what I like to see......to heck with having to follow a blood trail through briars etc.....

MMMM. More porkchops. Congrats. I like it to when they fall within sight. Even though Ive never shot a hog.
