FYI; I just learned there are some free hog bow hunts being offered by Polk County Natural Resources Dept at a place called "Sumica" down off Hwy 60 near Tiger Lake Road. It is a 3000+ acre area where hogs have over run the place. They want them gone but won't let me take the dogs in there.
Go to the Polk County website, then to "How Can We Help", scroll down and look around to find the hunt info. The permits are free. The application period expired June 30 but they say any permits not issued can still be acquired. I would call them to see.
Good luck.

Polk County is strategically located in the center of the Florida peninsula, about equal distance from the east and west coast and half way between the Georgia-Florida border and the Southern tip of the peninsula. Polk lies on the Interstate-4 corridor, 25 miles east of Tampa and 35 miles southwest of Orlando......,i just love copy and paste. ;D
