I think you have to have it hosted somewhere, and have to go into your profile and go through doing what ever it says under Avatar.

ok I just did it.
You go to profile at the top of the page.
Scroll down to where it says Personal Text.
Click the box that says I have my own pic, then put the url of the pic in the place provided.
The url can be obtained by right clicking on the pick and selecting properties. Then highligt and copy the url.
