So I guess everyone knows that you should not use soap in cast iron, right?
So after cooking, mix 2 tablespoons of table salt with 1/2 a cup of water and scrub it down with a brush and the salt mixture.
Rinse it well with hot water.
Dry it over heat so it does not rust and put a light coat of oil on it ( I use Pam cooking spray cause it's fast and easy) and put it back on the heat to set the oil up.
Let er cool and store it.
