I have an opportunity to hopefully provide some positive influence improving the qualities of a beeper and I'm asking for your input specifically associated with the point signal tone type. As an upland bird hunter, which tone type of the list below do you find most functional and useful. Thank you for your help.
Bobwhite Quail Tone Bell Tone (running bell simulation) Hawk Scream Beeper Tone (traditional point beeps) Other

Could you be more specific? I've never humted with a "beeper". Is this a beeper for the dog or for you? In other words does beep signal to you that the dog has pointed or for you to tell the dog "whoa"?

I don't have a beeper but I think it would be useful in heavy cover to locate a pointing dog. I've seen dogs with the hawk scream but never hunted behind one. Didn't sound too much like a hawk scream to me, but maybe it was just the brand. Maybe a realistic sound would hold the birds.
I'd think a beeper collar with a sound for a running dog and a different sound when the dog is on point would be my first choice. Second would be a beeper that sounded when only when the dog was on point.

I'd like to add that I'd want a beeper that fit on the electronic collar that I already have instead of having a second collar or having to decide which collar to use.
