Sept 1st is on a Wednesday? I guess Labor day we'll get to shoot birds this year in GA? Of course I'll be selling cigars on that day I'm sure.

I'm taking Sept 1 off. Can't believe I haven't already. I've already got days for the family trips to San Angelo and then Kingsville for the south opener. That's some shooting down there. Too bad it's almost 500 miles or I'd go more than once.
Type II should go on sale August 16 or so, since the 15th is a Sunday. I've had one for about 10 years now and it's the only way to go. I hear they're expanding the private land part this year to allow for some areas in quail season. Up until now, they leased private land was only open in dove season. I might have to find a place north & west of us to go bust some of those too. Wish there were more pheasant & prairie chickens in the panhandle.

I'm all over it dude. Type II sales should start in about three weeks. I was up by Ray Roberts on Saturday to train on the little knothead and there were dove everywhere.
Stopped off at Backwoods and shot one round of skeet. The only shells I had were the blanks I'd loaded to shoot over the training bumpers and they were loaded with rice. Had to pay club prices for crappy loads. I never shoot just one round, but I wouldn't pay another $6 for a box of those loads.
Let's hook up and go shoot some skeet or 5 stand.

Hunt, I need to PM or email you about where we want to meet September 1 to knock' em down. Some of those outfits northwest of Denton look good, but I think they fade quickly after the first few days.
If you haven't got your Type II and books yet, head to Garland TP&W and you can get it immediately instead of waiting for them to mail it.
