I've never fooled with them any so I have no idea about it, but my neighbor had a pup that ventured down the road and took up residence here at the house. It's pretty much all white except for a little dark tint on the ears, not enough to notice unless you are right up on it. When it first came here I told my wife that it looked like a lab but that I'd never saw a white one. We'll the neighbor finally stopped and told us that it was his but it wouldn't stay home, he then said that it was supposed to be a white lab " if there was such a thing" Then he said if I wanted to find it a home just to give it away to somebody, which was real nice. Getting to my question, is there such a thing as a white lab or is this little pup just a imposter? BTW, we found it a home and will be making delivery tomorrow.

No such beast exists to my knowledge. Yellow, Chocolate and Black are the only recogonized colors by the AKC.

I've seen some yellow labs that were so light that they looked white, but I agree with SH,there's no such thing.
