This has been the worst season I have had in years. I talked to a game warden at the landing this afternoon and he said it's been tough for everybody this year.

As far as my hunting goes, it was bad. The dry conditions had a lot of the deer headin for the deep swamp (Okefenokee NWR). Didn't even see a deer till the week before the season ended. The only redeeming thing about this season was that my son got his first deer.

Wooooo good gawd we got into 'em this morning! We about 400-500 ducks com into this beaver pond off of the Savanah River on a friends place. as bad as I was shotting I still got 4 ringnecks one woody and a drake mallard. We even had some geese come in on us and I didn't hit crap. The boys with me wacked four of the geese.
It was mostly ringnecks and woodies and they came in for about 20 minutes heavy but they were still ones and twos coming when we left at 9:00 AM.
Of course now that the season is going out I found a good hole.
