Today was it for ducks for me.

I tried out my new homemade duckblind on my jon boat this morning to put nice end on duck season. It was awesome, which is more than I can say for my shooting, AGAIN! Anyway here are some pictures:

Sunrise at a pond that was dry just three years ago.


Here it is after the sun was up and the ducks had all come in.( I was trying to take a picture of a wood duck hen that was making friends with my decoys.).

Here's todays take. I ended up getting four whole ducks for the year with this woody hen.

I'll be going out for the last day tomorrow w/ little hope of shooting some birds. . . i just need to go for the last sunrise of duck season. I wish i was at home so that i could kill a few but i'll be on a beaver pond close to school . . . with more than likely no ducks and rain.
