As you will find out i have a fasination with the weather and following it up and down the coast. Talked to my borther back hom and he told me all the lake finally are froze solid and there is almost nothing left as far as ducks go. He did see several large goups of geese and took a limit of them yesterday. Season closes up there today.
I am looking forward to hunting this weekend with all the crappy weather just north of GA its looking real promissing for my area and i hope your as well. good luck this weekend and stay safe! and remember if your in a moving boat for god sakes wear your life jackets please!
P.S i could though in a weather repot as well HEE HEE HEE

I gotta make the last day of deer season hunt with the dogs tomorrow. I think you're right with all the foul weather up north of here the weather should be just right for fowl here.
I'll be out after 'em Wednesday through Saturday next week though so save me a few. I have been seeing a lot of geese flying very high through here the past week.

Man,I'm so envious.Our season ended on 23rd of Dec.There's still quite a few ducks and geese here,they'll probably winter over as long as the stubble fields stay clear of snow.
Coming home from work yesterday there were hundreds of mallards trying to land in the stubble just east of the airport and there were a few hundred geese feeding just noth of them.

well, thank god my wife is semi understanding but not this weekend. she normally lets me get out both days on the weekend but tomorrow i will be gone all day and 1/2 day on sunday ;D figure i will get it in now so if she kills me i will die a happy hunter  |

i'm going to go tomorrow afternoon....i'd rather go in the mornin' but my plans changed.
it'll be good to get back out there....haven't been since last year.

Actually i go to school a UGA. . . and i do usually bring my hunting stuff w/ me b/c i have a few places to chase'em around Athens but this time i left my gun and things at home and decided to take a break until i get back home . . . . now i am regretting it!  |
