...when you get elected as Republican and you act like a Democrat, Republican voters won't vote for you. If anybody thinks that Nancy Pelosi becoming Speaker of The House is anyone or anythings fault other than the Republicans they are fooling themselves.
It's not the mainstream media, it's not the so-called corruption or scandals, it's not the economy, it's the Republicans own actions.
Such as:
Medicare Perscription drug coverage for everyone (huge budget buster)
No Child Left Behind (which has doubled the Dept. of Ed. budget since George took over)
It is failing to take serious action to stop Illegal immigration
It is earmarks and pork-barrel spending
and one of my personal favorite blunders The McCain-Feingold Act (so-called campaign finance reform) The best part of this one was Goerge W Bonehead signed the bill he said something to the effect that he felt the bill violated the First Ammendment protections of free speach but that he sign it into law knowing that it would be challenged in the courts and ultimately overturned in the Supreme Court.
True conservatives are people of principle. We will not put a two-faced phony in office just to keep the evil deomcrats out. Like Bear Bryant said "dance with the one what brung ya"
