Can you believe all the politicians trying to make hay with this story? Even more disturbing is just how inept all the authorities from the Mayor of New Olreans to the Governer of Louisiana to the FEMA Director to George-Einstein-Bush have been in dealing with this thing in the early stages. And then last night, while they are still trying to rescue people and bodies, MSNBC had some hack job special on the Bush Administration. I am so fed up with politics and politicians and the "liberal" mainstream media and the so-called conservsative talk shows with their blame the media and Clinton for everything I could puke.
This country if f---ed up because the people are f---ed up. And I mean all of us! I mean where you have people that think because seatbelts save lives there should be law making their usage mandatory. Or where people think that government spending in someone elses district is pork but in their own district neccessary.....we have a problem and it is.....US! Instead of a Medicare Prescription Drug Plan so retired people won't have to spend their Las Vegas money on pills we need to invest in our military so we can fight these screwed wars in Iraq and Bosnia to keep the defense contractors rich.

The sad part is after all this is over the vast majority of Americans will not heed the warnings of this disaster and learn to become self-reliant like the people that founded this country. They will run to Washington looking for them to spend our tax dollars on a solution. And some power hunger a--hole will propose a new government agency that will suck money out of the already broke US Treasury and we will alll go Yea the government is going to fix it so I can get back to watching Survivor or running little Johnny to socker practice.

I was glad I got to see it last month before the dookie hit the fan. ;D

It's really turned into a Bush bashing and I guess I don't entirely get that. Not like the hurricane was his fault, but Peloski, billary, and the few surviving Kennedy's are chomping at the bit to show us how we can blame the White House for what's going on. Ol' drunk@ss Eddie Kennedy even said the hurricane was W's fault because it was caused by global warming. Can't warm this marble up in only 6 yrs there, Eddie. Go have another scotch and chew on that.

I do have to laugh at the ridiculousness of that politician who's never held office, the Reverend without a church - good ol' Jesse Jackson. He and many others have taken advantage of this opportunity to show the rest of us just how foolish they think the rest of us are. Maybe one good thing will come out of this and America will tell them to shut up and roll up their sleeves and get to work.

The news this afternoon (just like SH has warned) says the Dems are calling for an independant counsel, and I quote, "like the 911 Commission" to investigate any wrong doing on the part of the White House.

It's a damn shame that people are dying and politicians are just looking to point fingers. Refugees, evacuees, black, white, whatever...these are American citizens and our leaders and our media are using them as pawns.

was shown on TV. Certain groups stealing TV's, guns, CD's, and jewelry. These same groups shooting at the rescuers and military. These same groups of people are the ones who our tax money supports cause they are too sorry to work, They are the people, if you can call them that and not animals, who just like in the hurricane, take advantage of every weakness they can find in government and liberal America. Jessie Jackson has done more to hurt America than he has ever done for good and with the attitude he brings into a place he certainly is not acting like a man of God. It amazes me that he has been able to walk the streets and not have someone picking off pot shots at him. The videos of the looters should be used as legal evidence and everyone of them who looted arrested and serve time, a crime was being committed on tape. But liberal America will let it go as acceptable in society and the groups of people who committed these crimes. Natural disasters occur, and if you live in a na area where they are the "normal" you must expect and prepare for them, if you don't then it is as much your fault when something happens to you as anyone's. IF I knew a briar patch always had rattlers in it I would avoid it, I certainly wouldn't camp there. It has become acceptable in society to riot by certain groups, look at the Rodney King riots, the O.J. riots, and now the riots in New Orleans, to the people who did it, it is acceptable to them which says little for their morality. Yeah, I may not be politically correct, I also say pull out of Iraq, let the uncivilized idiots kill each other or do em a favor or drop a couple bombs to help em out. It is no more inhumane to do that than what they are doing to our boys over there. Yeah, there may be a few that OK but the the minority should not affect decisions made against the majority. Liberal America is more worried about the stepping on one good foot than they are about controlling 1000 bad ones.

I talked to a Ga. tropper who was sent to New Orleans the past 2 weeks. He told me that the SEALS sniper team came in this week and Wed. night shot 52 gun toters breaking the curfew. All 52 were the same looking as the looters on TV. I asked if we could borrow them here in central Ga. for a couple weeks. LOL
