Was out last weekend with a friend of mine, his annual birthday trip.
Friday night was a beauty, stars seemed overly bright, not a breeze and we got seranated by a pack of wolves for about 20 minutes. Finally hit the pit around 1:00 a.m. Have to get up around 4:30 to turn beer into water and it's lightly raining.Crack an eye at around 6:30 and there's something wierd about the light ???Open the door to let the dogs out and we are freakin burried in SNOW!!!And it's comming down in these huge flakes,it was so quiet I swear I could hear it snow.It finally broke up around 11:00 and the sun came out and melted all the bad snow.On sunday there were only trace amounts of snow left, but there was a hell'uv alot of water.
We got pretty liqured up saturday night, celebrating buds birthday and all. Also smoked one of the finest cigars I've ever had,a nice fat Cuban Habana, probably rolled on the thighs of a virgin ;D.That was a 45 minute, two long drinks of whiskey smoke and I look forward to doing it again some day.

6:30 a.m.,not too bad,the tent is still up. Look at the size of the flakes, this is looking out the door of the tent. Around 7:30,hard snow has quit. A couple of the hounds soaking up the heat from the stove. Larry enjoying a Cuban.
