I can't believe we are gonna do it. Ya'll KNOW how I HATE camping in the heat because my fat butt can't sleep unless it's a balmy 65 degrees at a BARE MINIMUM!! It's a long trip this time of year, too. We're leaving Friday afternoon and coming back Sunday night. I got the menu all planned out........I'll be cookin over open fire in 100+ degree heat.  At least we'll be close to the water.....that should cool us off faster at night. We DO, however, have an A/C that we are gonna jerry rig to the tent window. I'm curious to find out how that's gonna work out. |

Have fun man.
We're going too,come hell or highr water,and I think it'll be high water.It's raining hard here again and the ground is saturated.
This'll either be a fishin weekend or one spent under a tarp by a smokey fire and a bottle of whiskey,I'll take either one ;D

Camping was good,got a little rain saturday afternoon,but that was it.The fishing was great too.
Saw alot of deer with fawns this weekend,just about everyone had a set of twins and we saw one set of triplets.Also saw a cow moose with twin calves.

LOL.....we figured it would be easier to mount the AC to the shelter than it would to the tent. The adults stayed in the shelter (with the cooler and tv) and the kids stayed in the hot tent. |

Love the tent,how the hell do you fold it up and get it back in the bag? ;D
If I was a kid you wouldn't catch me in that shelter.I remember the nights in a tent as a kid.Getting the zipper undone without the folks hearing it and sneakin around thinkin we were pulling the wool over everyones eyes,those were the days.
