Spring Trip

First trip of spring is happening tomorrow,woooo hoooo ;D.

Got the quads loaded on the trailer,just gotta throw the wall tent and gear into the truck and we're outa here.

My buds turnin 52 on sunday,so we'll probably get cross legged mumblin fall down drunk on saturday night ;D.

Also gonna scout out a valley where we want to put in a remote huntin camp,providing the snow is out of there,we'll give er hell tryin to get in on the bikes.

Sounds like a good time Blue. Still too much snow in the woods here for the quads, but the rivers are starting to break up, so should be steelhead fishing in no time.

Just got home,what a weekend!

Still quite a bit of snow up in that country,but it is receding.We saw 42 elk feeding in a cutblock friday evening.Tried to put a stalk on them for pics,but we lost the light .

Saturday we got into the valley where we're going to put in our hunting camp,it was a tough slog,buried the atv's a few times in deep snow,but with a lot of cussing and grunting and winching we got in .

Saw more white tail deer this week end than you can shake a stick at,looks like a good season ahead of us.

Wind blew like an SOB but we didn't get blown away by the grase of gawd.Ever seen a horizontal campfire?

More later,I gotta hit the shower and rinse off the smoke and dirt ;D.
