So, most of ya'll know I hate camping in the warmer months. I can't sleep when it's hot and building a fire makes it all worse.
I posted this idea before and now I think I'm ready to do it.....just need some ideas on how.
I have 2 options for the AC hook up. Both include the purchase of a new tent.
1) buy a tent with a straight side wall and cut a hole in it to fit the AC window unit I'm gonna buy. I'd have to duct tape it everytime I used it or come up with an idea where tailoring is involved.
2) buy a tent that has a vestibule on it and just point the vents into the tent. This would be the less efficient way but it's still AC.
What should I do....and if anyone has a better idea, let me know.

If you make your hole about an inch oversize and let the duct tape on both sides contact there you probably wouldn't have to re-duct tape it.

Cut the whole for the ac to fit in. When you cut it over size it on all 4 sides by one inch. I would start on the outside or inside at the joint with one piece of tape. From this with atleast a half inch overlap work out both ways about 3 or four inches. Now do the opposite side and start with the joint piece making sure it makes good contact with the first piece. Tape the crap out of this side like mentioned. That should do it.
