Don't know what happened there  Anyways,we're leaving next friday.Going to try and get into Seven Mile Flats and see if the elk herds have moved in for the winter.It's a 21 mile trip by atv into there thru some awesome country. There's a few lakes in there that we'll try and fish too.There's just so much to do up in that area.I'm really looking forward to this trip.  |

Wow.....sounds like fun. How far can you get on a tank of gas? Do you take extra gas? How much do you take if you do?

H4F1,I've gotten 54 miles out of one tank and by the time I got back to camp there was nothing but fumes in the tank  . We all carry an extra gallon or two when we make the long runs.You wouldn't believe the riders we've bailed out who took off into the bush with only the fuel in their tanks. In the winter we use up even more fuel usually cause we're pushing snow. Besides extra gas I carry a chain saw and survival gear. |
