I know some of you guys hunt for these in the Fall. I have eated them in the past and agree, they are the best tasting shroom on the globe. So....I was at Central Market yesterday and I saw dried morel mushrooms for $199.00 a pound. That's right......$199.00 a pound.

That's what shopping at that Central Market will get you. ;D Dang brutha, you're living in high cotton. That place is higher than a cat's back.

Oh.....I didn't buy them. I can find em on line for half that. I usually don't shop there but if you want something "off-the-wall" like an emu breast or a kangaroo steak, that's the only place to go. They also have Oberdorfer Weiss Dopple Bock beer that I have not seen since I was in Germany. (I still have one in the fridge ;D )

Oh yeah....and the other thing......
The place was so PACKED, you couldn't manuver a cart worth a damn. I ended up ditching ours. Every idiot in Plano that thinks they know how to deglaze a pan with a red wine/shallot sauce was in that place.

After all our fires this year morels will be abundant and the woods will be full of people trying to make a quick buck.
