I made this again tonight.......it's marinating and I'll put it on the dehydrator tomorrow. SH's post in Tips forum prompted me to go to the store and make this recipe.
2 pounds flank steak Tabasco to taste ½ Cup Worcestershire sauce ¼ Cup brown sugar ½ Cup Soy sauce 1 T liquid smoke 1 T pepper 1 bay leaf 1tsp. Crushed red pepper (optional) ¼ tsp. garlic powder
Slice the beef into ¼ thin strips. Mix all other ingredients and marinate the beef in an airtight container for at least 24 hours. Place meat in dehydrator and follow instructions for your particular dehydrator for beef jerky.
****For Teriyaki Beef Jerky, substitute ½ Cup teriyaki sauce for the ½ cup soy.

Bro,
or anyone.....
Try this recipe!!! Everytime I make it, people tell me I ought to sell it commercially.
I have to beat my kids out of it.
