You folks are the best.....haven't had much time here to post lately because after we thought Ian finally well, and good to go. Yep, here we go again! He was back in Pre-school for 1 week only since his surgery and having been so seriously ill when last sunday he started vomiting non stop. Poor lil guy could not even keep water down. I called his doctor and they told me to get Ian there ASAP which I did...needless to say they did what they called "direct admit" to the hospital and man they were hustling too. Ian was suffering from dehydration, strep throat, and a serioius case of rota virus ( losing fluids from both ends). He was in for 24 hour IV fluids, and antiboitic injections. I missed 3 days of work ( they were very cool and supportive at work ) to be able to be with him. Its a good thing that I am out of training and my probationary period is up though. LOL I guess the GOOD news is that they finally tested for Luekemia and they were all negative! That is a major relief!! Now I have been doing some research, and Ian's pediatrician is doing some also on Primary immunodeficiancy disease. Which if they find he has it, it is treatable. Thanks FH for putting this up, brought tears to my eyes and is appreciated more than ya know my friend. I'll keep you updated whenever I know more. We have already been told that he needs to stay out of school for atleast a month ( which he will hate ) but, we need to get to the bottom of what the hell is going on with him. We are talking about a little boy that was not sick a day in his first almost 5 years....and then the crap just hit the fan in November with very serious illness and such. Just some bad luck? Nope, I know in my gut something is dreadfully amiss and intend to find out just what the heck it is!! And then, I intend to fix it!!! Hopefully his pediatrician will come thru....if not then I will take him to one of the Childrens Hospitals as I will leave NO stone unturned til its figured out! Sorry to ramble but just a tad stressed right now. Thanks again for the prayers and positive thoughts folks. Chris and Ian
