They are going to start testing Ian for Luekemia tomorrow. Any and all Positive thoughts and prayers will be so very much appreciated. Ian spent 12 hrs in the ER yesterday and his last visit was 12/26.... I am sorry.... only 3 hours of sleep since Tues 9PM. Thanks to you in advance..... Chris Just have to thank all that have called, emailed, and are keeping my lil man in their prayers. Whew....you do not really understand what the words hard or difficult mean til ya have kids. My prayer is that most do not have to go thru this hell and see their child so very, very sick. If ya ever do..... just please be strong cause your child needs to see that you are "okay" it reassures them when they feel so shi**y. Somehow you find the strength to get thru, even when functioning on major sleep deprivation. After a 2 hr consultaiton with Ian's Dr yestersday AM......we will test for Lukemia as a last resort( it is still a distinct possibility) ......He has been diagnosed with Meningitis and possibly encephalitis. In addition he may have a septic blood infection to boot. He has been having two antibiotic injections a day since Wed. and we go back to the doctor Monday very early am for further review. My gut says that he will be admitted to the hospital and put on IV antibiotics for 1-2 weeks as discussed per the consultation on Friday. We shall see..... My thanks to all for any positive thoughts and prayers sent Ian's way. They are appreciated much, much more than any of you know. I will update when I can.

i talked to chris for awhile today...ian's being tested for menegitis tomorrow so the lil man still needs all the prayers he can get.....so does chris and her mom who seem to be runnin' on fumes lately. they still haven't ruled out the luekemia but that'll come after the menegitis tests. think that's it.
chris- hope you don't mind me updating everyone.
