They deviated from thier gameplan too. Never saw em. Just saw a jake... Scouted after I climbed down and saw 2 longbeards and a doe... I think I found a couple places I want to try.

Had a big bodied deer coming in this AM. Stood up to get ready for a shot when it cleared the brush and my stand squeeked... Been outside replacing bolts and adding washers. Looked to be around 160# was in too thick of stuff to see its head. Walked down where it came from and there were some REAL fresh rubs. The pine needles where it was pawing were still wet so Im sure it was the same deer. It didnt really spook, just stopped and changed directions.

The food plots are starting to come up. Decided to climb down at 10A and about half way down the tree saw a buck about the same size as the one I shot yesterday walking down the logging road.... Maybe Ill hunt a little later next time? It finally spooked whan it got to about 40 yards. I was hunting where I had been seeing the does.

I forgot to mention that buck was standing under the tree I had been climbing all bowseason when it spooked....
