Our eyes down in southern Alberta have seen 14 bull elk this week.Just got a call today that one bull is a freakin monster.A week today and we'll be down there lookin for em,can't wait.

A couple of the guys going with us were down putting on the finishing touches on the camp.They saw a big 6x6 bull with a harem of cows right above the camp.The rut is just now starting up and the bulls are starting to bugle.Got all my gear packed and waiting by the door.I'm am just stoked about this hunt.

We're going for a day this coming wednesday for the archery opener.If I don't arrow one then,we're going for a week with rifles from the 18 to the 24 sept.
